We offer services within three core support categories: eldercare, childcare, and everyday assistance. Here's a breakdown of the activities each category covers and any prerequisites:

Requirements: DBS, first aid trained, and two references.

Services:

  • General childcare, including support for children with ADHD, autism, and disabilities.

  • Babysitting, which encompasses newborn care, nanny services, and mealtime and bedtime routines.

Eldercare: πŸ‘΅πŸ»

Requirements: DBS, first aid trained, and two references.

Services:

  • Companionship, offering your time to help alleviate loneliness or isolation.

  • A helping hand, providing general, non-medical assistance to individuals with conditions such as dementia, long-term illness, old age, frailty, physical disability, sight or hearing loss, terminal illness, or cancer.

Everyday Assistance: 🏑

While not mandatory, we encourage companions to upload DBS certification to enhance their profiles.

Services:

  • Appointments and trips, accompanying someone outside the home.

  • Cleaning, which involves general household cleaning and tidying.

  • Cooking, encompassing single meal preparation or weekly food planning.

  • Gardening, covering general garden maintenance.

  • Household chores, offering an extra pair of hands for tasks like DIY and sorting.

  • Pet sitting, which involves caring for pets and taking them for walks.

  • Technology support, providing assistance with setting up or using everyday technology like phones and computers.

  • Sickness and injury support, assisting individuals recovering from illness or injury with tasks like shopping, cooking.

  • Mental wellbeing, offering time and companionship to help those struggling with their mental health.

These categories and services cater to various support needs, ensuring that companions can find opportunities aligned with their skills and qualifications.

If you provide any form of transportation as part of a visit, it is your responsibility to have the necessary car insurance in place together with a valid driving licence
